Engineering innovation today is defined by global collaboration, scale, and speed. At BETA CAE Systems, now part of Cadence, teams contribute to advanced simulation technologies that support complex engineering challenges worldwide.
With roots in Thessaloniki, the team has grown from a strong engineering foundation into part of a global organization, contributing to international projects and collaborations.
Global collaboration has always been part of the company’s DNA, shaping work around international engineering projects and partnerships from the very beginning. That’s one of the most interesting parts of working in engineering today. You can build a career with international impact without feeling disconnected from the city you live in.
Over the past few years, we’ve also seen more young engineers looking for something beyond «just a first job». Young engineers today don’t just look for a job. They want to develop skills, gain experience, and grow professionally over time.
That’s something we care about a lot.
Every year we meet many people at the start of their careers, interns, recent graduates, or people having early conversations about what they want to do next. Some already have a clear direction, while others are still figuring things out. Both are completely normal at that stage.
Some of them join us for their first professional experience and stay for longer than they originally expected. It’s always interesting to see how those early steps develop over time.
Now, as part of Cadence, our teams also have the opportunity to collaborate within an even broader international environment, exchanging knowledge and experiences with people from different backgrounds, disciplines, and engineering cultures.
This year marks another participation for us at TechSaloniki, and we’re genuinely looking forward to the conversations that come with it. Not only about job openings or CVs, but about engineering, career growth, technology, and where the industry is heading next.
TechSaloniki X is always a great opportunity to meet people who are curious about engineering, technology, and the different paths a career in this field can take.
