EMISIA is a spin-off company of AUTh, specialized in the areas of emission calculation modeling, energy consumption modeling/testing, and assessment of environmental policies. Main focus is given to transport emissions (road, rail, and aviation), vehicle activity modelling and transport statistics. Several models have been developed, such as SIBYL (energy consumption), COPERT (GHG emissions) and Intelair (air quality), among others. With access to software development tools and vehicles for measurements and testing, EMISIA establishes connections between the academic-research and private sector.

Responsibilities 

Your responsibilities as a Back-End developer will be to: 

  • Develop new and maintain existing API and the backend of Web applications using .Net Core 
  • Develop and communicate with databases 
  • Work with mechanical engineers, designers, product managers and supervisors to understand the problem space and needs and create elegant solutions 
  • Participate in code review, quality process and testing 
  • Find and explore new technology solutions and be able to provide solutions out of the box 


Basic Requirements 

  • 2-4 years of demonstrable development experience generally 
  • 1-2 years of demonstrable development experience in .Net or .Net Core 
  • Knowledge of at least 1 database product e.g. Oracle or PostgreSQL or MS SQL or MySQL 
  • Communication, teamworking & troubleshooting skills 


Good to have 

  • Understanding and experience in Object Oriented and MVC programming 
  • Knowledge in GIT source control 
  • Good command of the English languages
