KENOTOM
Kenotom is a privately owned engineering services provider for Embedded Systems and Industrial Automation based in Thessaloniki, Greece. The company has gathered significant experience in automotive Electronic Control Units (ECUs) having as customers Tier-1 automotive electronics suppliers in the EU.
Its expertise in Automotive Open System Architecture (AUTOSAR), as well as MICRA-C/C++ and safety relevant standards conformity (such as ISO26262) put the company at the forefront of automotive applications development for Tier-1 suppliers. Starting in 2014 in the automotive sector expanding soon in the area of industrial automation, while maintaining high customer satisfaction, the company set the foundation for rapid growth in other sectors as well such as aviation and medical.
Since quality engineering services lay at its core, maintaining and advancing the quality management system (ISO 9001/ISO 27001/ VDA-ISA TISAX) is fundamental.
For Kenotom, trust is the key for a healthy and strong business relationship with its customers and paves the way for further developing new ones.
The vision of the company is to become the most reliable engineering center of excellence for embedded systems and industrial automation in southern Europe. Kenotom currently employs more than 150 engineers.
Kenotom develops safety critical embedded systems with focus on the automotive electronics industry. The main activities lie in the area of Basic Software (drivers) for Electronic Control Units (ECUs), Function and Diagnostics Software for ECUs, Hardware Design, Testing and Test Automation of ECUs. Since the beginning in 2014 we have established several partnerships with some of the largest automotive electronics suppliers. Continuing the significant growth of last year, we are currently looking for more than 15 additional engineers for all our sectors. The team keeps constantly growing, offering a dynamic working environment in the frontend of the automotive technology and significant evolution opportunities.
In order to enforce our teams in our running projects we are looking immediately to employ 1 highly motivated C++ Software Engineer.
Overview
Electronic Control Units (ECUs) are placed into vehicles performing numerous automation and safety procedures. The development of the function software of such units is a demanding procedure, requiring deep understanding of the vehicle dynamics, knowledge in electronics and high programming skills. Moreover, the software development processes, including testing (Unit Tests, HiL Tests etc,), reviews, documentation, static code analysis, requirements definition and more is a key element to meet international levels of safety, since such Electronics that fail in the field are an active hazard to human life.
The primary responsibilities of this position are:
The candidate will be responsible for working as a part of a development team with other engineers to ensure that program goals are met, schedules are maintained and problems encountered during the development process are resolved. The position is based in Thessaloniki, GR and occasional travel to the customer’s premise may occur.
