Logismos is looking for a Java enterprise software engineer to join our team in Thessaloniki that develops our Student Information System (SIS) platform that covers all operations of academic institutions. Logismos SIS platform is built on top of multiple technologies, and teamwork is essential to ensure a high standard of quality. 

Your role 

• Develop back-end services and APIs in Java and JavaEE 
• Implement technical backend requirements 
• Maintain and optimize our applications 
• Work in cross-functional teams 

Essential qualifications 

• Two years of working experience as a Java software engineer 
• Java/JavaEE knowledge and relevant specifications (JAX-RS, JPA, CDI, etc).  
• One year of working experience with Hibernate/JPA ORM tools 
• Experience in the use of relational databases and SQL 

• Experience in the implementation of RESTful APIs 
• Experience in any version control tool such as git, subversion, etc 
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills 

Optional qualifications 

• Experience or understanding of CI/CD operations (Jenkins, Ansible) 
• Experience or understanding of PL/SQL 
• Understanding of JavaEE/JakartaEE concepts

• Develop new sw modules and APIs using a rapid application development (RAD) tool. 

• Maintain and optimize our applications

Required Qualifications 

• Excellent knowledge of Object-oriented programming. 

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject 
• Experience in RAD tools (PowerBuilder, .Net, Developer Express). 
• Experience in the implementation of RESTful APIs 
• Experience in the use of relational databases and SQL 
• Experience in any version control tool such as git, subversion, etc 

• Out-of-the box thinker. 
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills 
• Fulfilled military obligations (male candidates).

Αρμοδιότητες : 

• Εφαρμογή και υποστήριξη συστημάτων ERP – CRM – Budgeting – BI – SCM σε εγκαταστάσεις μεγάλων πελατών.  

• Συλλογή και ανάλυση απαιτήσεων, προσαρμογή και παραμετροποίηση λειτουργιών και παροχή συμβουλών για την βέλτιστη αξιοποίηση των συστημάτων. 

Επιθυμητά Προσόντα: 

• Πτυχίο ΑΕΙ ή άλλο ισότιμο πτυχίο  
• Εμπειρία στο χώρο των επιχειρήσεων 
• Κατανόηση συγχρόνων τεχνολογιών πληροφορικής και της σημασίας των  εφαρμογών τους για την βελτίωση της ανταγωνιστικότητας των επιχειρήσεων  

• Καλή γνώση της αγγλικής γλώσσας.
