DevOps Engineer
As a DevOps Engineer at FoodTec you should have a strong background in AWS cloud services and DevOps practices to enhance our software development and deployment processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop test plans and test cases.
- Engineer solutions utilizing a range of AWS services, including CloudFormation, EC2, Lambda, Route 53, ECS, and EFS.
- Balance hardware, network, and software layers to create scalable and maintainable solutions
- Monitor server applications, using tools and log files to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Ensure the web and integration services maintain 99.99% availability.
- Proactively anticipate, identify, mitigate, and resolve issues related to client-facing infrastructure.
- Monitor, analyze, and predict trends in system performance, capacity, efficiency, and reliability, and provide recommendations for improvements to meet client SLAs and industry standards.
- Research and propose innovative, automated approaches for system administration and DevOps tasks.
- Deploy and decommission client environments for both multi-tenant and single-tenant hosted applications, adhering to established processes and procedures.
- Practice configuration management, maintaining component inventory and related documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Technical Support Specialist
Position Overview:
As a Tech Support Analyst, you’ll play a vital role in our 24/7 Tech Support team, assisting our valued customers with software and hardware issues they encounter in their stores. The challenges you’ll tackle span various fields, including networking, hardware, and software, ensuring that your training and knowledge will continuously evolve.
Please Note: This is a 24/7 rotational position, offering additional compensation for bank holidays and night hours.
Rotation Shifts:
• 07:00 – 15:30
• 16:00 – 12:30
• 23:00 – 07:00
Core Responsibilities:
• Engage with customers via calls and emails
• Skillfully diagnose issues by asking targeted questions and extracting essential details
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the problem and its root causes
• Effectively communicate issue resolutions to customers
• Document cases meticulously in our internal system with clear and concise notes
• Apply your technical prowess to troubleshoot tech support-related problems
• Escalate or transfer cases to other departments as necessary
Qualifications and What You Bring:
• Proficiency in English
• Strong teamwork skills
• An Associate’s Degree or higher in a technology-related field
• Previous experience in restaurant operations and/or restaurant POS systems (a plus)
• Excellent written, verbal, and analytical abilities
• Previous Help Desk experience, including desktop/application support and ticketing systems
• Deep familiarity with Windows Operating Systems (XP, 7, 10) and command-line interfaces
• A foundational understanding of networking concepts (IP Address/Gateway, Router/Modem configuration)
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends
