Job Summary:

HyperMesh CFD is a solution centric streamlined user interface which provides end-to-end workflows for aerodynamics, aeroacoustics, internal flow, multiphase flow, thermal and moving mesh simulations. Modern UI layout with intuitive workflows provides fast and robust tools for geometric modeling, case setup, post processing and design exploration enabling users to carry out large complex simulations efficiently.

Candidate will help HyperMesh CFD development team in product evaluation, ongoing benchmark, AI integration and content creation (marketing and technical).

What You Will Do: 

  •            Learn product and understand user workflows focused around external aerodynamics and aeroacoustics.·        Help implementing AI within product by creating training datasets and evaluating performance.·        Create marketing/technical content – blogs, videos, white papers, training documents.
  • ·        Evaluate new features against real world application and possibility to automate them.
  • ·        Assist in ongoing benchmarks – work directly or help application engineers.

What You Will Need:

  •         Understanding of computation fluid dynamics concepts and applications
  •         Hands-on experience with commercially available tools such as Fluent, Star-CCM+, ANSA, and HyperMesh.
  •         Know-how of scripting

Job Summary:

The Data Infrastructure, Processing & Automation Team is overseeing a wide range of program management activities within the HyperWorks development group. This involves FEA result postprocessing, data reporting and visualization, and customization infrastructure. A large part of the team’s activities is interdepartmental collaboration and close cooperation with the core infrastructure teams that are working on the foundations for the next generation of our CAE solutions.

What You Will Do:

The team now has an opening for an internship role. The successful candidate will be working closely with the Product Managers responsible for Results Post Processing. They will be assisting with creating requirements, testing, and demonstrating new features, providing feedback to the development and documentation teams, while internally benchmarking a solution workflow and performance to meet real-world use cases.

Result post processing spans across results visualization, plotting dashboards of charts and creating reports. Hence, the role will require the applicant to be willing to work with a broad range of solutions and applications, while looking at them holistically from a user’s point of view.

  • Assist Product Managers with developing demos, documentation and community content for HyperWorks Python API and extensions
  • Assist Product Managers and the development team with testing and evaluating the software and identifying issues (performance, stability, usability)
  • Assist the Training Team with creating training examples and content capturing new features
  • Working with internal technical teams and assisting them with customization-related issues and with customers transitioning to the next generation of our solutions

We are looking for an engineer to strengthen our team of application engineers focused on finite element modeling of electromagnetic aspects. They will be integrated into a development team consisting of developers and application engineers to refine the physical models and the computation performance in the Altair® Flux® software, as well as set up coupling between the Altair® Flux® software and other Altair software. The role will primarily involve activities related to specification, validation, and documentation.

  • Propose and critically evaluate ways to improve/add to models in Altair® Flux®
  • Communicate with support teams or directly with customers to gather and adjust needs
  • Interact with other agile teams in Altair® Flux® environment and communicate with other global Altair teams
  • Work with agile methods and interact directly with members of the development and application engineers team
  • Validate ongoing developments within the team
  • Write user documentation on new features in the XML DITA format
  • Perform deployment tasks at the time of version delivery

What You Will Need:

 Basics:

  • You have a background or experience in electromagnetism and, ideally, have at least 2 years of work experience
  • You are proactive and rigorous
  • You can understand physical models
  • You know simulation tools and finite element method

Preferred:

  • You can write in English and are familiar with Oxygen XML Editor and the DITA format
  • You have good team working and leadership skills
  • You have good communication skills
  • Ideally, you have an engineering degree in electrical engineering, ideally in electrotechnics
  • Proficiency in technical English is essential for this position.
