Cybersecurity Specialist / RD-CSS-01
As a cybersecurity specialist, you will be asked to set a system with which you will have to monitor the every day operations regarding the cybersecurity parameters in Olympia Electronics.
Tasks
- Testing and controlling the architectural structure of research projects with emphasis on cybersecurity
- Identifying cybersecurity issues in research projects with the use of software tools and suggesting proper ways of solving them
- Communication with the software developers in regards to the new projects
- Security testing on Linux servers and creating security reports

Requirements

Junior Embedded Engineer, R&D / RD-EEJ-02
As a Junior Embedded Software Engineer you will be part of our growing R&D team and contribute to the development of addressable panels on emergency lighting and fire alarm systems. You will work in a dynamic environment where your day to day will involve working as a team on world-class products.
Tasks
- Reading and understanding theoretical, electrical and electronic schematic designs
- Developing software using C language
- Performing functional tests
- EMC performance testing
Requirements
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Applied Computer Science or related technical field
- Minimum 2 years of proven industry experience in the field of electronics
- Minimum 2 years of experience developing embedded firmware using C coding language
- Good knowledge of electronic circuits lab measuring instruments (multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.)
- Proven skills in performing functional tests
- Experience with 32-bit processors, preferably Cortex-M

Senior Embedded Engineer, R&D / RD-EES-03
The Senior Embedded Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, testing, certification and manufacturing process of addressable panels on emergency lighting, addressable fire alarm and central battery systems. You will work in a dynamic environment and be part of a workplace where your day to day will involve working as a team on world-class products.
Tasks
Your key responsibilities include:
- Designing firmware solutions based on project requirements
- Coding using C language
- Contributing to schematic design and managing PCB layout
- Contributing to firmware architecture and development, engineering tests and product validation
- Drafting the technical documentation related to the firmware and hardware code (Doxygen, Confluence)
Requirements
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Applied Computer Science or related technical field
- Proven industry experience in the end-to-end development life cycle, from the initial concept to production (including architecture, design, development, debugging, documentation, and validation)
- Minimum 5 years of C coding experience in embedded firmware
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of electronics
- Deep understanding of embedded architecture concepts (CPU core, internal and external memories, CPU peripherals)
- Experience programming MCUs and RTOS such as FreeRTOS
- Experience with Cortex-M Processors (M0, M0+, M3, M4, M7)
- Experience identifying hardware requirements based on firmware requirements
- Experience in version control (Git) and issues tracking (Jira)
- Experience in designing schematics on analog, digital and power electronics
- Experience in serial protocols (UART, SPI, I2C)
- Ability to navigate, understand & adapt large existing codebases
- Ability in risk assessment and problem solving during the product’s life cycle development
- Ability to use block diagrams, conceptual sketches, pseudo-code and other techniques of project designing
- Excellent team working skills is a must, both internally within the R&D department as well as across departments
- Fluency in English both written and spoken
Nice to have:
- Good knowledge of PCB design guidelines for achieving EMC with minimal EMI
- Familiarity of object-oriented programming concepts, preferably in C++
