Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related subject;

We are looking for a talented Associate IT Systems Engineer to join a team of highly qualified professionals and get involved in the full IT projects lifecycle for enterprise-class solutions.

Successful candidates will provide onsite and remote support to customers with critical response time requirements for their business technology systems. They will work independently and as members of a team to fulfill service requests. This is a customer facing role and requires excellent prioritization, responsiveness, and customer service, along with excellent communication skills.

As an Associate IT Systems Engineer you will:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance;

We are looking for a Descriptive Analytics Consultant to join our Reporting and Analytics team in Athens.

The team is responsible for the development delivery of a full spectrum of products and services supporting the data analytics workflow on credit and insurance portfolios, with the aim of delivering actionable, automated analytics capabilities integrated with day-to-day operations. Our work is based on Qualco’s suite of end-to-end credit operations and analytics productsD³E, the Data-Driven Decisions Engine – our own end-to-end software solution for credit portfolio analytics.

Responsibilities include:

  • Engage with the reporting and analytics teams of internal and external clients on a regular basis, to monitor the use of the descriptive analytics capabilities of Qualco products, identify opportunities for further adoption, suggest product-based solutions to day-to-day reporting needs, communicate new features and advise on best product usage practices;
  • Engage with the business stakeholders of internal and external clients on a regular basis, to record stated reporting and descriptive analytics requirements, identify the underlying business need, and suggest Qualco product-based facilities or services to meet the need;
  • Compose detailed specifications for reporting and descriptive analytics deliverables based on Qualco product capabilities, review them with clients and elaborate them to the point of signoff and implementation handover;
  • Implement reporting and descriptive analytics deliverables through a combination of Qualco product configuration facilities and suitable data visualisation front ends, and advise technical team members on the implementation of specifications whose scope exceeds these facilities;
  • Follow established, product-based best practices in all the above, but also identify gaps in these practices and play a key role in their evolution.

To achieve the above, the descriptive analytics consultant will have access to Qualco’s consulting and product development functions, and will have a say in the elaboration of departmental methodologies and product best practices.

Requirements

  • University degree plus at least two years’ experience in an analytics or technical consulting role;
  • Excellent grasp of day-to-day credit portfolio management processes, in the context of banking, collections or debt servicing operations;
  • Familiarity with the processes to which our product contributes is an absolute prerequisite, as is a willingness to challenge the established state of the art in this area in a respectful and consistent way;
  • Familiarity with relational and/or multidimensional database concepts and their interactive use through standard reporting front ends (e.g. MS Excel pivot tables);
  • Knowledge of SQL is not a prerequisite, but will be appreciated
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, as a tool for report prototyping and data exploration;
  • Knowledge of other data presentation front ends (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) is desirable but not indispensable;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and cooperation skills in Greek and English; and
  • Being able to gain the client’s trust through your presence, your ability to identify and articulate their needs, and the consistency and clarity of your writing is a key aspect of this role, as is acting as a champion for both the product and the client.

In addition, the ideal candidate would also have one or more of the following:

  • Understanding of predictive modelling concepts, processes and potential outcomes. The generation of predictive models using the automated machine learning facilities of Qualco products D³E’s automated machine learning facilities is not part of the role, but an understanding of where predictive modelling fits in the client’s ongoing portfolio treatment optimisation journey would be desirable; and
  • Experience in credit portfolio management operations support, ideally (but not necessarily) using the Qualco Collections and Recoveries (QCR) platform.

  • 2+ years of experience in similar role (Support Help Desk or Technical Support) in IT or Software industries;
  • Understanding of S/W development lifecycle, QA processes, IT change management, issue and problem management;
  • Working experience in Banking industry is much appreciated;
  • Technical Expertise would be high appreciated;
  • University degree in Engineering, Finance or relevant field of study. Post graduate degree desirable but not essential;
  • Project Management, strong communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving ability connecting technology and business issues;
  • Experience in working in cross-functional, multinational teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;

We are looking for an experienced, self- motivated engineer to join our Software Support Team and provide high quality solutions/support to our rapidly growing client base.

The successful candidate will be working closely with our Service Management and Software Development teams to improve customer experience, provide effective integration and service request solutions as well as identify and timely resolve issues of our client’s.

Responsibilities

  • Understand clients’ installations and processes;
  • Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance;
  • Build tools/queries to fulfil customer service requests and improve customer experience;
  • Investigate and identify root cause concerning reported customer incidents; Perform service restoration actions when possible;
  • Take part in the investigation and Problem Management processes – during the support & maintenance phases – by implementing bug fixes, upgrades and enhancements to our existing clients;
  • Provide second level support for Qualco software services; and
  • Develop/Update internal Monitoring Tools.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or a relevant field of study;
  • Work experience as a Support Engineer or similar software engineering role;
  • Experience in NET Framework, C#, databases and SQL;
  • Microsoft ETL tools and IIS knowledge will be highly appreciated;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • High level of ownership and attention to detail;
  • Team Spirit and passion for results;
  • Client facing with good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skill; and

Role Overview

At QUALCO, we empower the financial world with innovative technology. As a Pre-Sales Administration Specialist, you will be part of our Wider Public Sector team in Athens and you’ll play a crucial part in bidding process in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from the Wider Public Sector in the IT domain. You will be responsible for ensuring the completeness of the proposal file in terms of legal and other required documents and evidence and manage the procedural aspect of the submission.

A Day in the Life of a Pre-Sales Administration Specialist at Qualco will include:

  • Owning and preparing the supporting documentation (legal and other prerequisites) of Bids responding to RFIs/RFPs;
  • Interacting with Legal, Compliance, HR, Finance and other internal or external units including partners and vendors to ensure ‘file complete’;
  • Requesting the issuance and tracking status/validity of Letters of Guarantee and other required certificates from respective issuers;
  • Proactively keeping relevant documentation up to date and ready at hand;
  • Overseeing the proposal submission process (administration);
  • Executing the proposal submission process in the ESIDIS public procurement platform;
  • Contributing the administrative aspect of proposal writing, bid submission and contract signing;
  • Tracking published tenders and notifying internal stakeholders accordingly;
  • Producing, updating and providing best practice support on documents, databases and other company systems to support the work of the department.

Requirements

What we are looking for:

  • At least 3 years experience in similar position, supporting bids for the Public Sector;
  • Excellent knowledge of the ESIDIS public procurement platform;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek & English;
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
  • Solid organizational and attention to detail skills;
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills;
  • Experience in working in cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
