Backend Developer

We are currently looking to fulfil a position of a Backend Web Developer to join our team in Thessaloniki. Our company’s business model provides a unique opportunity for IT oriented professionals to assume the role of a Backend Web Developer and be a part of diverse teams that undertake projects ranging in size, scale and type.
The core focus of this role is to implement the business logic of the applications supporting or comprising the company’s projects by writing concise, elegant and reusable code, either on solo projects or as part of a team with other members of the dev team, while communicating with the frontend developers for layer integration.
A broad understanding of core software development concepts is a requirement, along with developed communication skills that will ensure smooth collaboration both within the backend team, as well as the frontend team. In addition, our wide range of projects means that you will be coming in contact with new technologies on a constant basis, so a desire to learn and the aptitude to do so is a must.
What you will be doing:
- Translate user/functional requirements into technical implementations;
- Design and implement solutions’ components;
- Develop designed solutions by writing concise, efficient and readable code;
- Integrate with third party libraries and external APIs;
- Debug applications in order to understand issues that might arise;
- Collaborate with the frontend team on layer integration;
- Provide accurate time estimates on assigned tasks.
Requirements

At DRAXIS, you will be working with the latest technologies (our stack includes Vue.js and Vuetify amongst others) and you will be responsible for designing and implementing custom high-performance and responsive applications around the areas of remote sensing, geographic information system (GIS) and mobile applications.
We are looking for a FrontEnd Developer, eager to work with demanding technologies and solve complex problems, to join our development team in Thessaloniki, Athens or remote. You should be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of functional Programming and be proficient in modern Javascript (ES6+).
What you will be doing:
- Design and develop high quality front-end applications using VueJS.
- Design and implement front-end architectures.
- Manage integration of our front-end interfaces with our backend APIs.
- Translate UI/UX design wireframes to actual code.
- Maintain and extend existing UI and improve UX.

IT Project Manager

We are looking for an IT Project Manager who will play a key role in our team to the management of EU Research & Development (R&D) projects in the context of H2020/Horizon Europe programs in software design and development tasks.
The core focus of this role is to manage and oversee the ICT related project implementation by collaborating with internal teams (other project managers, domain experts, designers, developers etc) or external teams of well-known industry and academic partners across Europe.
The domain of the projects you will be working will include the development of modern complex software applications that will contribute to environmental and resource sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Management and implementation of international projects under EU funding programmes (e.g. Horizon 2020/Horizon Europe)
- Leadership and management of work packages, tasks and deliverables
- Management of internal and external project teams to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules

Responsibilities
