The Opportunity

We are looking for a Java Developer to join our growing team. At Pentasoft, we develop cutting-edge solutions for clients in insurance, banking, and the automotive industry. As part of our team, you’ll work on projects that make a real impact while continuously developing your skills.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance scalable and high-performing Java applications.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to design and implement reusable system components.
• Ensure software quality through rigorous testing, debugging, and code reviews.
• Optimize application performance and contribute to system architecture improvements.
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies and integrate innovative solutions into our projects.

What You Bring

✔️ A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
✔️ Strong Java development skills and experience with object-oriented  programming.
✔️ Familiarity with key technologies, including:

• Jenkins, Git, Maven
• Spring Boot
• Eclipse IDE or IntelliJ IDEA
• Database systems

✔️ A team player with a problem-solving mindset.
✔️ Fluent in English

Nice to Have

➕ Basic German language skills.
➕ Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker
➕ Background in insurance or banking projects.

Location & Travel

🌍 Thessaloniki, Greece, with occasional business trips to Germany.
