Responsibilities

  • You will be mentored to actively contribute to design and testing for embedded electronics systems (e.g., flow meters, communication modules with a focus on low-power
  • Participate in design, development, testing and documentation of embedded systems. This includes PCB design, reviewing debugging, testing, properly documenting electronics and deliverables, attendance of meetings with internal business in a multisite environment.

  • In parallel you will be integrated in an Agile development framework: take part in all ceremonies, get tasks assigned to you, and drive them to completion in time and scope. You will have a chance to learn about technologies, trends, best practices, protocols, standards, and certifications in the technological scope of the products and of product development in general.

Qualifications and experience

  • Experience of Electronics or Embedded system, with at least 1 years
  • Electronics measurement and testing is a must
  • Altium PCBA design knowledge is a strong plus
  • Simulation tools (e.g. pSpice, LTspice) knowledge is a plus
  • Capabilities to assembly electronic prototype
  • Excellent English communication skills is a must, German is a strong plus.
  • Good communication and presentation skills are a must.

Product Cyber Security Engineer (100%)

Your Responsibilities:

Craft | Secure Design, development and testing

  • Privacy & Security by Design: Ensure that privacy and security principles are seamlessly integrated into the design of all products and services. Drive the development of security automation tools.
  • Develop comprehensive threat models for the products and services we deliver to customers.
  • Define and execute security verification activities, including development guidelines, reviews, SCA, SAST, DAST, and penetration testing.
  • Identify and exploit vulnerabilities across diverse software platforms and IoT devices.

Processes, tools and methodologies

  • Shift security left through Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices.
  • Continuously improve privacy and security processes, methodologies, and tools for R&D product development and post-market monitoring.
  • Minimize data privacy and security risks across digital and embedded metering products throughout the entire product lifecycle.

Your Profile:

  • Cybersecurity Passion: Demonstrated enthusiasm for cybersecurity and data privacy, with a proactive approach to addressing security challenges.
  • Educational Background: BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Relevant Experience: At least 5+ years of experience with Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices.
  • Hard Skills: C/C++, Python, git, security algorithms/protocols (AES, RSA, PKI, MQTT, SITP)

Your role
As Frontend developer you will build modern web applications that allow our customers to visualize their data coming from IoT devices and administer their devices in the field. As such, you will become familiar with GWF’s proprietary technology and develop visually rich user experiences. You will work hand-in-hand with the local team, while having access to expert technical guidance by the respective product tech leads. You will design, implement and maintain features on our web platform. You will collaborate with the backend team to make sure internal APIs and endpoints accurately reflect the needs of the frontend. You will participate in agile processes within Microsoft’s ecosystem (MS Teams, Azure DevOps) including sprint planning, ticket grooming and daily stand-ups. You will keep yourself up-to-date with respect to the technology landscape and contribute in the platform’s optimization and lifecycle, from ideation to deployment to the cloud.

Qualifications and experience

  • 2+ years of working experience in building modern web applications
  • Experience in building applications with mainly React
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of JavaScript fundamentals
  • Good understanding of CSS preprocessors and bundling tools
  • Solid understanding of the web platform and its capabilities
  • Confidence using Git commands
  • Clear and effective communication skills in English (written and verbal),

  • Participate in the verification and validation testing of digital products. Understand product requirements and specifications, and identify problems in them, especially from the testing/testability viewpoint. Contribute to test plans with well-designed test cases for specific parts of the products. Execute automated and manual testing to verify and validate functionality.
  • Assist in harmonizing processes, tools, and methodologies for the functional workstream. Follow best practices and team recommendations and identify challenges in them.
