As the digital accelerator of a global group, we empower Einhell’s business worldwide. We
are looking for an ERP Operations & SQL Database Specialist to take full ownership of the
health, performance, and release cycle of our Business Central environment. You will be
the one ensuring that our deeply integrated Microsoft-stack application runs in a perfectly
tuned, high-performing environment.

Responsibilities: Your Impact
As Einhell’s ERP Operations & SQL Performance Specialist, you are the bridge between
the development team and the infrastructure, ensuring that our Business Central
ecosystem is proactive, not reactive.
• MS SQL Mastery: Take full ownership of database maintenance and monitoring.
You will monitor and optimize MS SQL Server performance, queries, and indexes to
prevent issues before they reach production.
• Performance Governance & Telemetry: Establish processes for performance
reviews. You will utilize Telemetry to check for missing indexes, suggest better data
models, and implement event monitoring to ensure long-term stability.
• DevOps & Release Management: Organize the structure of our releases and
manage the DevOps lifecycle. You will ensure that every deployment is smooth and
well-structured.
• Microsoft Ecosystem Integration: Build and maintain models for monitoring
system events using the Power Platform and other MS tools, creating a “safety net”
that prevents performance degradation.
• Infrastructure Liaison: Work in close cooperation with the Infrastructure team,
managing database-specific tasks while streamlining the operational workflow.
• Quality Gatekeeper: Review the impact of new features on system resources,
making productive suggestions on how to maintain a high-performing environment.
Requirements: What you bring
We are looking for a professional with a strong SQL/DBA background who loves system
internals and operational excellence within the Microsoft stack.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience as a SQL Database Administrator (DBA) or in
an ERP Operations role.
• Infrastructure Focus: Strong hands-on experience with on-premises MS SQL
Server infrastructure. Experience with cloud environments is a great plus.
• Performance Tuning: Deep knowledge of query optimization, index management,
and SQL Server internals.
• Microsoft Stack Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Microsoft tools such as
Power Platform, Azure AD, and Telemetry.
• DevOps Mindset: Familiarity with managing releases and organizing deployment
structures.
• ERP Awareness: Practical experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business
Central or NAV is highly preferred, especially regarding its database structure.
• Analytical Thinking: You are a problem-solver who enjoys troubleshooting and
documenting complex system behaviors.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English (written and spoken). German is a strong plus.
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is great, but
your skills matter most.
