TechPro Academy has successfully wrapped up another one of its usual Fall Meet-ups, on October 8th at the KEDEA Amphitheater. It was a full house, with TechPro candidates, staring this November, alongside university students, graduates and aspiring tech professionals. Over 120 attendees had the opportunity to learn more about the Academy, its training programs and active engagement with the local ecosystem of tech.

The Meet-Up took place in the presence of the Academy’s key drivers of success, its dedicated team of instructors and seasoned industry professionals, its valued hiring partners and TechPro Alumni, who shared learning paths and career journeys.

Grigoris Kalogiannis, Research Associate at the Information Technologies Institute, Nasos Lentzas, Senior Reliability Engineer at Allwyn Lottery Solutions Pavlos Xouplidis, Senior DevOps Engineer and Lead Operational Excellence Team at Kuehne + Nagel and Giorgos Kantasis, AWS Data Engineer at Sword, representing the academy’s team of instructors, talked about their own engagement, its train-to-hire mindset and job-ready skills. They, also, reflected on their own extensive experience and deep undestanding of tech and how this is transmitted to candidates.

Kostas Malamas, CEO at Dataviva, Giorgos Manolis, Managing Partner & Co- Founder at Onelity, Maria Chamali, Assistant HR Manager, and Magda Gazea, HR Consultant, at Deloitte, Tasos Avramis, Founder & Managing Partner at Datascouting, and Maria Rammou, Human Resourses and Operations Director at Draxis, welcomed the crowd on behalf of the Academy, introduced their companies, presented their needs in skilled workforce and work ethics and were available for networking by the end at the foyer of KEDEA.

The gathering was brought to an end by the much-awaited panel of TechPro Alumni, Kyriaki Savoulidou, Junior Software Engineer at Netcompany, Nikos Kasapakis, Front End Developer, and Spyridoula Mpatziou, Salesforce Developer, at Deloitte and Kyriakos Panaretos, Software Developer at Draxis, who shared personal thoughts and experiences and talked about their own career journeys and professional development opportunities given by the Academy.
