Committed to its vision for inclusive, innovative and targeted training on new technologies, and campaigning under the slogan “Program your Future”, TechPro Academy has launched on Monday, the 2nd of October, its Fall2023_Bootcamp in Front End, Back End and Data Science technologies.

Following a rigorous and demanding candidate selection process, the Academy had the pleasure to welcome more than fifty trainees in the landmark building of YMCA, at the city-center, where all courses will be held.

The bootcamp’s launch took place in the presence of industry leaders, sponsor companies Deloitte, Netcompany-Intrasoft, Altair and Datascouting, which actively support the academy by contributing towards curriculum design and execution, through the implementation of workshops and company visits.

As noted in the opening speech of TechPro’s Ed-Tech Head, Mr. Dimitrios Tragoudaras, “the Academy aims in bridging the distance between the individual and technology, in creating prospects for professional development and personal growth, as well as in promoting the established and prosperous local ecosystem of tech”. He, then, went on to add that, “to deliver on this vision, we intend to act as a simulated workplace environment and remain focused on cultivating in-demand knowledge and professional skills in order to craft highly skilled, employable talent.”

Greetings addressed among others, Mrs. Victoria Paschalidou, Senior Consultant, Learning & Development Deloitte, Mr. Dimitris Theocharis, Talent Acquisition Senior Professional-Team Leader, Netcompany-Intrasoft, Mr. Lazaros Tsiorlakidis, Managing Director, Altair, Mr. Anastasios Avramis, Managing Director, Datascouting, and Mr. Vasileios Ioannou, Executive Director, YMCA, all of whom stressed the great importance of reskilling/upskilling and the need to align the skills that young people acquire more closely with those required by the labor market.

TechPro’s coordination team and instructors welcomed the newcomers, shared insights, answered questions and discussed the ways in which the academy will be beneficial. TechPro is, already, planning its next bootcamp, due to the great demand and positive response of candidates. The 3rd TechPro Bootcamp is expected to start in February 2024.
