TechSaloniki proudly hosted the first-ever Women’s Edition [WE] on December 5th at MOMus, marking a significant milestone in the journey to support, empower, and connect women in the technology sector. Organized on behalf of the Women in Tech Network—an influential alliance formed by five leading multinational companies: Accenture, Chubb, Deloitte, EY Greece, and Pfizer at CDI—the event highlighted the collective commitment to fostering an inclusive and dynamic tech ecosystem.

With an impressive turnout, the event became a thriving hub for ideas exchange, interaction, and networking, bringing together a remarkable crowd of female professionals. Attendees had the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions, establish valuable connections, and draw inspiration from industry leaders and peers alike. The energy in the venue was palpable, reflecting the enthusiasm and drive of women shaping the future of technology.

The inaugural Women’s Edition took place under the auspices of the Ministry of Digital Governance, the Region of Central Macedonia, the U.S. Consulate, and the Hellenic-American Chamber of Commerce, with additional support from the Directorate of Digital Governance of RCM.

As the first of many to come, the event has set the stage for ongoing dialogue, collaboration, and growth. Its strong institutional backing highlights the growing importance of gender diversity in tech and paves the way towards a more equitable and empowering environment for women in the industry.
